Our Philosophy
Great Ocean Road Lodge is not just a holiday house; it’s a state of mind where families re-connect through active outdoor experiences – from beach walks to surfing to sailing or from bike riding to bush walking.
The owners of GOR Lodge are active “baby boomers” who discovered the Great Ocean Road as teenagers and have continued to use this spectacular region as a family holiday escape ever since.
Located on the Great Ocean Road, with a stunning coastal view, Great Ocean Road Lodge has an active ambience giving all who stay there the spirit of the outdoors, the zest to get up and be active, and the conduit to reconnect with family. With mountain biking, surfing, golfing, fishing and bush walking, all at your door step. Your family will wear themselves out without even knowing it.
Our Objective
From couples looking to recharge their batteries to large groups of 10 or more, our aim is to help you experience the Great Ocean Road region from your luxury accommodation base.
Comfortably sleeping 10 with two double bedrooms and a bunkroom you can accommodate the whole family plus those “hanger-onners”.
The magnificently finished games room allows for the overflow sleepers and will keep the younger (and older) ones happy if (or when) the weather turns with its own Plasma TV with independent Foxtel connection.
